About Us
We are a family run business outside of Philadelphia. Neither Jeff nor Keilee are originally from the area but it is starting to feel like home. You can find us tinkering with projects, teaching, developing software, coaching/managing soccer or baseball teams, and traveling when we can. Oh and we love the Union!
The Treadmill Desk Story
We started this journey during the pandemic when we were stuck at home trying to get our kids to online school, do our own jobs (that were now work from home), and still trying to exercise to keep our sanity. You can only run so long on a treadmill in the basement without feeling claustrophobic. Jeff ordered a few treadmill desk attachments so he could walk while coding, answering emails, or on Zoom. He soon found that his neck and back hurt and a few people didn’t like that he seemed to always be looking down at them while on Zoom. He played around with a bi-level wood design which worked ok but was too heavy to remove easily when one of us wanted to run on the treadmill. Two years later we finally settled on a design but then had to find a manufacturer and deal with supply chain issues as did everyone else in the world. Our first bulk order is arriving in July 2024 and we can’t wait to share them with you!
